Christopher Moody

Founder

Christopher M. Moody is a founder of the employment and labor law firm of Moody & Warner, P.C. He has been practicing employment and labor law since 1983 and represents management in labor relations matters, including collective bargaining, unfair labor practice cases, representation proceedings and grievance arbitrations.

He represents both employers and employees with serious claims in employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour litigation, including class and collective actions involving the claims of large numbers of employers.
Moody & Warner was co-class counsel to a class of over 2,800 women stock brokers in a ground-breaking nation-wide gender discrimination class action that settled in 2007 for over $46 million plus wide-ranging injunctive relief designed to level the playing field for women employees. Moody and the firm have been recognized by “Chambers USA – America’s Leading Lawyers for Business” each year since 2005 as leaders in employment law and Moody has been recognized as a “Southwest Superlawyer.”
Mr. Moody is a frequent presenter on employment law topics. Moody is a graduate of Duke University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in New Mexico, Colorado, and California. He accepts cases in those states and in other states throughout the United States, where he is able to participate in cases by associating with attorneys admitted to practice in the relevant state. Mr. Moody works out of both our Albuquerque and Los Angeles offices and practices law in New Mexico and California.
